Hawk Owl nest box

Entrance 150×250 mm, front wall height 30 cm. The nest box is half open on the front side and it has an opening front board to ease cleaning.

Frame is 21 mm conifer plywood and roof is 9 mm film plywood.

The back wall of the nest box has wooden bars with holes for hanging straps. We recommend using 2 straps for hanging.

Fastening instructions

Fasten the nest box to an open area approximately to 5 metres height. Single trees in felling areas, swamps or open areas in forests are good places. Pour 5 cm layer of sawdust, decayed wood or dry peat to the bottom of the nest box. If you clean the nest box after nesting, make sure to fill it with new padding.
